Like many other models, Almina didn’t initially fall in love with the camera. In fact, it was quite the opposite. She disliked being in front of the camera, preferring to spend her days drawing and daydreaming instead.

Her artistic interests led her to college, where she earned a degree in Visual Communication Design. Almina has always been passionate about creating visually beautiful work but never imagined she could do so in front of the camera.

Self-conscious about her prominent facial features, Almina never thought a modeling career was likely. However, everything changed when she was scouted and began modeling full-time. What she once saw as her flaws became her strengths, and she grew to love the transformative power of fashion photography — which is all about adopting new perspectives.

In addition to modeling, Almina enjoys rereading Joe Dispenza’s “Placebo is You” and rewatching “Shakespeare in Love.” She also has a keen interest in numerology.
